Our Shaklee story began in 2006 when my husband Bill had a heart attack.  This set in motion a journey that resulted in both of us getting back our health after ignoring it for too many years.

We had no way of knowing that the decisions we made and the things we did would result in my starting a new business.  Even more amazing, that these things would actually save Bill's life on August 17, 2008!

After Bill's heart attack he came home from the hospital on 9 prescription drugs and a commitment to get off the drugs and get his health in great shape.  I joined him in the goal of getting healthy and staying healthy.

We started exercising and went on the SHAKLEE CINCH INCH LOSS PLAN.  Bill lost 60 lbs. and I was able to give up a 50 year cigarette habit without gaining weight.  That's important because a lot of women use cigarettes to control their weight.  The most exciting thing was that Bill's doctor took him off 8 of the 9 drugs!

My business background started when I was 18 and opened a home based business selling a line of women's clothing.  As a single mother of two I needed a steadier income with benefits and I joined the corporate world with a career in finance.    Nineteen years later I married Bill, left the corporate world behind and opened several book stores in So. Florida.  Bill was transferred to Orlando in 1999 and I closed the stores and retired to enjoy peace and tranquility.  Then life, as life will, handed us the wake-up call that returned me to the business world.  I didn't realize how much I had missed it!

Since I had been, and was once again, a small business owner I have a special affinity for entrepreneurs and their enthusiasm and positive energy.  I chose to work with small business owners as the focus of my business.
